Everything you have thought and done has lead you to this very moment of your life. Of all the billions of people in the world, it’s amazing that you are now reading my thoughts. Thank you for everything, for what you have done in the past and for what you will do in the future.
I was recently featured on the back page of Skirt! Magazine. Ever since I moved to Charleston in 2003, I have loved Skirt! Magazine. I am deeply honored and grateful to have been featured in their magazine. Here is the link: http://charleston.skirt.com/skirt-247
In January of 2012, I went to India for several weeks and thought about my life. I sat in caves, ashrams and temples. I realized if I ever wanted to get any large goals completed, I would have to focus. I came back to Charleston and quit a few jobs- teaching yoga, singing weekly at Fish and writing the weekly arts column for Charleston Scene.
After many long hours at the public library and at my desk, my dream of writing a book came true. Inside An American Hostel: A Guidebook for Managers and Aspiring Owners is the first book of its kind in the hostel industry. This 224 page book is filled with my travel and work philosophy as well as revenue, expenses, profit and loss statements, occupancy rates and stories of travelers I have met along the way. Copies are available here: https://www.createspace.com/3908785
Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for awesome opportunities. I will gladly accept. I have been given so much in my life, I am open to any chance to give back.
Check out www.notsohostel.com. Traveling makes the world go round. There is a quote floating around the universe that goes something like, “I am not the same after having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.” I whole heartedly agree.
